Joshua implements a wholistic approach to assisting his clients. He understands that your legal matter is only one aspect of your life, but that it can drastically affect all areas of it. As such he attempts to create outcomes that are not just a legal win, but that set up his clients for ongoing success and peace of mind.

Bio

Joshua graduated from Peter A. Allard (UBC) Law School with a Juris Doctor (JD) and Indigenous Law Specialization. He was called to the BC bar in May of 2023. Prior to law school, he attended the University of the Faser Valley and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care. He is a member of the Hupacasath First Nation from Port Alberni, BC.

Joshua previously practiced with a mid-sized firm in the Fraser Valley and an Indigenous non-profit organization. His work focussed primarily on Criminal Defence but has now shifted to Family Law. His educational experience allows him to appreciate and navigate the intricate dynamics of a family going through a separation. Joshua takes pride in approaching his files in the least adversarial way possible while still recognizing when litigation is necessary.

Outside of the office Joshua loves spending time with his wife and two sons. He is often found planning his next Disneyland/Disney World/Disney Cruise trip, singing Disney songs, or watching Disney movies (if you can’t tell he has a thing for Disney).
